2025 MID-YEAR UPDATE
We’re only halfway through 2025, and we can already say...this year has been one for the books! Since January, we’ve been in full growth mode, welcoming two talented real estate agents, Caroline Sullivan and Andrew Smith, to the team, bringing on Kristin Reilly as our new Bookkeeper, and adding two fantastic construction summer interns to support our expanding project workload.
Both our Real Estate and Construction arms have experienced exciting growth, and we owe that success to you, our clients, friends, and family, whose ongoing support and referrals mean the world to us.
Leah was also recognized as one of the Top 500 Agents for 2025 in the Fort Worth area by DFW Real Producers and named a 2025 Top Realtor by Fort Worth Magazine! Her dedication, expertise, and impact in the Fort Worth real estate market truly shine.
Market Update & Current Trends
Real Estate
Fort Worth just hit a major milestone with its population topping 1 million residents (now 1,008,106), it’s officially the 11th-largest city in the U.S. As you’ve likely seen in the headlines, often with more doom and gloom than reality, the DFW real estate market has shifted to become more balanced. Inventory is at its highest level in over a decade, and homes are taking longer to sell compared to the lightning pace of the past few years, though this trend varies significantly by neighborhood.
Overall, buyers have gained more negotiating power, while sellers need to price strategically and remain patient. We're hopeful that mortgage rates will ease in the second half of the year, which would give the market a healthy boost. At
Fine Point Homes, we’re closely monitoring these shifts and providing our clients with the insight and strategy needed to succeed on both sides of the table.
Construction
Comfort, function, and a touch of luxury are driving residential construction trends in Fort Worth. Homeowners are embracing smart technology, spa-inspired bathrooms, and flexible layouts. There’s also a noticeable shift toward eco-friendly materials and designs that connect indoor spaces with the outdoors. Even utility spaces are getting a style upgrade. Mudrooms and laundry rooms now feature added counter space, smart storage, and design details that bring personality to the practical. Kitchens are also becoming more expressive with distinctive countersplashes, playful color palettes, and bold pattern combinations.
Community Events & Giving Back:
We celebrated our Fine Point Homes Office Grand Opening in April! We had over 100 attendees who joined us to celebrate, along with 8 amazing sponsors, 7 incredible partners, and 6 talented local vendors. We had an incredible day celebrating with a ribbon cutting from the Fort Worth Chamber and live music from It’s Your Night Entertainment. Guests enjoyed custom monogramming by CD’s Stitches and a surprise visit from the TCU SuperFrog. Our creative West Vickery neighbors — Cowtown Clay, Cowtown Kids Art Studio, Bright Eyed Blooms, and Studio Fort Worth — hosted activities that brought the community together.
Additionally, we held an art auction featuring 4 local artists, with proceeds benefiting Cook Children’s Hematology and Oncology Center.
We also had our 3rd Annual Tarrant Area Food Bank volunteer morning. Fifty of you showed up to help sort food and provide 8,846 meals for those in need right here in Tarrant County.
Our most recent event was our exclusive client Family Mini’s photoshoot captured by local photographer Lakin Stearns. Hosted at our office space, it was our way of giving back to the incredible families who make up our community, just in time for Mother’s Day. The afternoon was filled with familiar faces, sweet reunions, and quick photo sessions that turned into lasting memories. It meant the world to us to celebrate and honor the people who have supported us in such a meaningful way.
We have also enjoyed supporting local neighborhoods, charities, schools, and organizations throughout the year, including sponsoring Saint Andrew Catholic School’s auction, donating to Cook Children’s Hematology and Oncology Center, sponsoring the Wedgwood Summer Block Party, Meadows West Neighborhood Association, and advertising in Tanglewood’s Stroll Magazine.
If there’s an event, charity, or initiative you believe Fine Point Homes should participate in, please let us know. We always align our efforts with the mission of building, supporting, and giving back to the Fort Worth community.
